| Where We Stand Maintaining the historic Clayville site located one mile east of Pleasant Plains, Illinois. Ravaged by neglect, vandalism and the forces of nature, Clayville stands on the brink of destruction. What YOU Can do Become a friend of Clayville. Donations of time and money are vital to restoring and maintaining the site. Please make your tax deductible contributions payable to the Pleasant Plains Historical Society.
